Don’t get caught with your pants down – order Bill’s CD today
Aug. 19, 2005

Attention fellow music lovers! This week’s big news comes out of Arkansas (state motto: "Making Oklahoma Look Pretty Darn Good By Comparison").

Former president Bill Clinton is getting his own CD compilation.

That's right  – soon, we will be able to listen to some of Bill's favorite tunes while jogging, eating a cheeseburger, or preparing to lie under oath.

Some of the songs on the CD include "My One and Only Love" by John Coltrane, "Summertime" by Zoot Sims, and "Chelsea Morning" by Judy Collins. Considered but rejected were the Beatles' "All My Loving," Mitch Ryder's "Devil in a Blue Dress, " and the Who's "See Me, Feel Me."

The CD is the latest joint venture for the Clinton Presidential Library and the Clinton Museum Store and sales are expected to be brisk. Past big sellers for the store have included cigars, stain remover, and a collectable Linda Tripp Voodoo Beanie Baby.

The Clinton Museum Store is unique in that it is the only one of its kind to sell beer, bait and deer loads. It's also the only one ever to have wheels and require tie-downs.

Museum Store operator Connie Fails said the disc will be on sale soon, and she already has a spot picked out for it on the counter, between the Harley cigarette lighters and strawberry-scent auto air fresheners.

To promote the CD, Fails said the Store will include a copy of the disc with the purchase of a car-wash or a fill-up during quail season.

The store is conveniently situated near the Presidential Library. Visitors here can view a replica of the White House music room, where Bill used to play his saxophone. Music was his second favorite way of relieving the stress of being president.
